Next Speaker of the House?

In less than a week Congressional Democrats, thanks to a Democratic House Majority, will be  voting on the next Speaker of the House. The real money is on California Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi, the last Democratic Speaker of the House, and – because I live in San Francisco, CA. – my personal Congressional Representative.

I have voted for Ms. Pelosi many times over the years, including in the last, most recent election.  My reason for pointing this fact out: Clearly, demonstrably, I have absolutely nothing against Nancy Pelosi personally. That said, I do, however, have some questions I’d like answered prior to the vote for Speaker of the House (https://www.youtube.com...).

The most important question, the one I think we’d all like an answer to: We all keep hearing  about what an incredible “money-maker” Ms. Pelosi is. Apparently, Pelosi has raised “a staggering 714-Million dollars” (https://www.realclearpolitics.com...) for the Democratic National Committee (DNC), the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), and various individual Democrat’s campaigns, which sounds just great. In fact, this is the #1 Reason most people are saying that Ms. Pelosi should be (re)elected the next Speaker of the House (again); Pelosi is just so good at getting money for the Democrats.

It does, however, beg the question: If all these multi-national corporations are giving you all these millions and millions of dollars, Ms. Pelosi – and that’s who’s giving Pelosi the money, not individuals slipping her $5s and $10s here and there; NO, almost exclusively multi-national corporations are providing the money – just what exactly are these huge business-interests expecting in return from you and the Democratic Party? (https://www.youtube.com...)

You can see, I hope, how obviously Nancy Pelosi is compromised and corrupted by this
equation. The only answer that does not lead to compromise and corruption is, “Oh, all these multi-national corporate interests are just giving me all these millions and millions and millions of dollars because they are all wonderful people who just want to help!” which doesn’t even come close to passing the smell-test (in other words it’s obvious bull-sh-t).

So, the first question is, “What Do These Multi-Nationals Want in Exchange For Millions and Millions of Dollars?”, and the second question is, a question even more chilling, “Exactly What Did You Promise Them to Get This Money, Congresswoman Pelosi?” (https://www.youtube.com...

These are very reasonable questions. Questions that need to be answered before a vote, any vote is taken.
